The Villa

Villa La Sablière is ideally located near the Port of Bourgenay, the customs path that joins the beach of Veillon, and the shops of La Croisée (bakery, rotisserie, fishmonger's, wine shop, supermarket, café/tobacco, restaurants, bicycle rental).
It offers 8 comfortable beds with a master suite on the ground floor, a double room and a single room with 4 bunk beds. 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets are available.
Its large living room open to the garden is ideal for gathering around the dining table or in the living room. The sofa, which is of high quality, also offers 2 real extra beds when unfolded. The room is equipped with roller shutters on all windows, so it is quite possible to sleep comfortably.
The open kitchen offers all the equipment to cook everyday and enjoy the local flavors. It also has a pantry for storage and a garage for a car, your bikes or your equipment.
Outside, the enclosed garden has a direct view of the large pine and oak trees of the Veillon woods, perfect for relaxing. The terrace, facing south, is equipped for convivial moments in the open air: garden table and chairs, deckchairs, plancha.

Surroundings

Villa La Sablière is ideally located on the edge of the Veillon wood, going directly to the beach and the Payré Estuary, a natural site remarkable for its unique setting and preserved nature. You can go for a walk and meet the oyster farmers of the Guittière port, who are always ready to let you taste their products. It is also less than 2km from the Veillon beach, which is supervised, ideal for swimming and renowned for its kite-surfing spot, accessible by a cycle track, from the marina, where there are many water sports activities and from the Port Bourgenay Golf course, a magnificent Links between maritime pines and hedged farmland, all with a view of the ocean.

On the way to Les Sables d'Olonne, and less than 5 km away, is the Aquarium de Vendée.

A cycle track, on the seafront, leads to Les Sables d'Olonne along the Cayola Bay and through the Bois de Saint Jean, an ideal setting for a bike ride.
Gourmets will appreciate the Cayola, a gastronomic restaurant with an exceptional view of the bay. Very close to the house, the restaurant Les Loups de Mer, offers an authentic and seasonal cuisine. Les Sables d'Olonne also offers a number of very good addresses for all tastes, such as Le Fatra, Le Quai des Saveurs, Le Mama, Les Chardons or Le MayDay.

Finally, as the Vendée is a country steeped in history, there are many testimonies of this rich past available to visitors. Less than 5 km from the villa is the Château de Talmont, a vestige of the passage of Richard the Lionheart. You can also visit Le Puy du Fou, less than an hour away by car.
